The purpose of this document is to be prepared in the eventuality that you/ someone you care for tests positive. If you're starting to prepare, use this as the jumping off point. When you find information that isn't on this page, please update the sections. If you have ideas / suggestions / information, please add them in or leave them as comments.

Prepare your medicine kit

  1. Mercury thermometer (so battery doesn't run out)
  2. Oximeter and back up AAA batteries
  3. Multivitamins—Zac-D (couple of sheets - to be taken 1 a day)
  4. Antihistamine—Cetrazine (take before 7pm to fight drowsiness the next day)
  5. Cough syrup—Grilinctus
  6. Paracetamol
  7. Incase of a stomach upset—Digene syrup

Identify your oxygen level baseline

  1. Keep recording Oxygen levels to know your baseline
  2. Keep a regular routine of sleep and food, so drop in oxygen levels can be reliably compared to the baseline

Prepare your information kit


Use this as a jumping off point, but create and keep a list for yourself handy. Each of the lists are divided by region. If you have details for a region that's missing from the list, please duplicate a toggle block and add details in.

Know Covid symptoms to look out for

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

When in doubt, start the checklist

Yes, get started for the slightest of covid symptoms
Start isolating yourself
Get RTPCR done at home from the list above
Consult a doctor from your list of docs
Get medicines from pharmacy from list above
While waiting for the test results (1-2 days delay in test results may occur):
If test comes positive
If oxygen saturation drops below 90
